Maui Dolphins Swim Club was founded July 1997 with the opening of the Upcountry Pool in Pukalani, Maui. We take swimmers from beginner to Zone Qualifiers – and hopefully beyond. We welcome swimming visitors.

Our Mission

Our club goal is to foster a life-long love of swimming – and to encourage families of swimmers. As Coach Eddie Reese of UT says, “Swimming FAST is fun,” so we train our swimmers in the best technique and challenge them with individual goals in practice. Swimmers learn a better work ethic and discipline in setting reasonable goals towards big long term goals – a big part of what we teach. We support other water related sports including water polo and diving. We start with beginner swimmers (minimum 5-years) both to get them started in competitive swimming, and to make them are safer in the oceans that surround us on Maui.

Contact Information

We swim year round at the Upcountry Aquatic Center (aka Pukalani Pool; a 6-lane outdoor 50 meter pool usually divided with bulkhead to 2 6-lane short courses) courtesy of Maui County Aquatics. We swim daily Monday through Friday afternoons 4:30-6:00+ PM.
