We are a private, nonprofit 401c(3) organization whose purpose is to promote
swimming for life through the sport of age-group swimming. Donations and
other payments to Maui Dolphins can be made with PayPal™ You can also pay your monthly dues by PayPal. You can "fill" your escrow account by PayPal (start $50). Hawaiian Swimming has a $1/event (plus $1/relay) charge for all sanctioned USA-S meets in Hawaii (before 9/1/08 is was $1/swimmer). We used to be able to cover the charge (which is paid at the end of each swim season) with dues. We will continue to cover relays. However, with the fee increase, we need to ask parents to "deposit" $50/swimmer swimming swim meets in an account with Maui Dolphins. Your child's entry fees will be deducted from this "escrow" account each "season". In a season, if your child swims 5 events per meet for 6 meets plus a fun meet that would amount to $35 per season.For comparison, On Oahu there charge a $2 per event ($1 to the LSC, $1 is used to pay rental fees, other fees, and "fundraising" for the host team).
