We are a private, nonprofit 401c(3) organization whose purpose is to promote swimming for life through the sport of age-group swimming. Donations and other payments to Maui Dolphins can be made with PayPal™. Please to NOT pay monthly dues or other fees using the "Donate" selection - pay from the Payment Page. Just Click above. We invite & need your financial support through eScrip and dropping off your recyclable Hi5 containers at Aloha Recycling across from VIP Food Service near the port in Kahului, or at Maui Disposal Recycling Center across behind Kalama Intermediate.
MAUI DOLPHINS SWIM CLUB FAMILIES CAN NOW DONATE THEIR HI-5
BEVERAGE CONTAINERS TO THE CLUB IN ONE OF THREE WAYS:
1) Aloha
Recycling (Map on site): The preferred method (they're computerized) if
you're driving down to Kahului is to stop off at Aloha Recycling on
Amala Place, across from the Cash 'n Carry grocery store. Tell the
collections person you're donating to
Maui Dolphins Swim Club
right away to avoid computer delays. Please give the receipt to the
club volunteer behind the desk when you come by the pool so we can keep
track.
Hours: Monday
-- 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tues-Sat
- 8 a.m.-4:30- p.m.
2. MAUI DISPOSAL: You can also recycle at the
Maui Disposal Recycling Center just below
Kalama School in Makawao
(MAP).
Again, tell them you're donating to
Maui Dolphins Swim Club
-- if they need help, tell them the receipt book is in the second
drawer. Again, please bring the receipt to the pool and give it to the
volunteer behind the counter.
Hours: Wed-Sun
-- 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
2
- 5:30 p.m.
3. If either of those methods is impossible, you can bring your
clean, sorted (i.e. cans in one bag, plastics, in another, etc.)
recyclables to practice and one of the coaches will drop them off the
next day. But please think of this method as your last resort.
And please
remember that ONLY HI-5 containers will be accepted -- please, no paper,
other plastics, etc. that we will need to sort and discard.
On a related note, you can now keep your depleted batteries (AAs, AAAs,
D-cells, etc.) out of the landfill by dropping them off at Long's --
they've just set up a program with The Big Green Box to collect any
portable electronic device or battery (well, not your
old car battery).
If you have other ideas or methods of support ... please contact Coach Malcolm. |
